Hi, I am wondering if I have an accurate information about gene location.
At recent, I have searched genes of human (ALK, KIF5B) using Ensembl genome
browser and UCSC genome browser both.
But, there was dicrepancy in location numbers of the gene.
For instance, ALK gene starts 29,415,640 bps and ends 30,144,432 bps in
Ensembl, but is from 29,269,144 bps to 29,997,936 bps in USCS.
What's happening? There is a difference of 146 kb between 2 db systems. Can you
