Hello Paul, We primarily focus on displaying vertebrate genomes on the UCSC Genome Browser. However, the Genome Browser source code is free for academic and non-profit purposes (commercial use requires a license). Instructions for creating a mirror site of the Genome Browser are here:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/admin/mirror.html Instructions for using your own set of databases on your mirror are here: http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQlicense#license4 Alternatively, you might try NCBI: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?db=genome http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/GenomesHome.cgi?taxid=10239 I hope this is helpful. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 12/12/08 11:50, Paul Lieberman wrote: > Dear UCSC > > We are trying to use Solexa ChIP-Seq on cellular and viral genomes. > We have been successful in using the UCSC Genome Browser for mapping > back our sequences to the human and yeast genomes.
