Hello again,

Thanks for your recent help (now liftOver works fine),

I have another problem:
I installed hgWiggle program (compiled with the J. Kent source code), and it
seems to work fine with gc5Base.wib/wig output. To my knowledge this is also a
recommended way for finding conservation statistics of specific genomic regions
(Is it true?). I find phastCons17.wib/wig for mm8 in:

ftp://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/gbdb/mm8/wib/
ftp://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/mm8/database

But no such files for mm9.

Could you add these tables (or explain/direct-to-documentation on how to build
the wib/wig, if this is not a very slow process on simple PC). Or is there a
new way to find conservation statistics for large scale work?

Thanks
Avi
