Hi Lobelia, Yes, it's possible that Genomatix has a different list of promoters. Predicting promoters is an area of very active research, thus it is reasonable that two different sources could disagree as to the exact location and number of promoter regions.
Which UCSC Browser track(s) are you using to predict promoters for DUSP1?
