Dear Dusp1-expert, :-) to verify where Genomatix got their promoters from, copy-paste them from their website into blat and search them as a fasta file (e.g. ">prom1 acactcgactga >prom2 acatcgactagcat >prom3 actacgacta, etc") , switch on all gene models and all ESTs and Genbank mRNAs and look again at dusp1 in the genome browser with all these tracks activated.
I counted three promoters 5' of dusp1, I do not really understand what you mean by 3'-promoter... good luck Max On Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 10:27 PM, Samavati, Lobelia <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Expert, > I am trying to find about the promotor of DUSP1 gene(human) and I encounter > some discrepancy between the UCSC genome browser and Genomatix program.
