Dear Dusp1-expert, :-)

to verify where Genomatix got their promoters from, copy-paste them
from their website into blat and search them as a fasta file (e.g.
">prom1 acactcgactga >prom2 acatcgactagcat >prom3 actacgacta, etc") ,
switch on all gene models and all ESTs and Genbank mRNAs and look
again at dusp1 in the genome browser with all these tracks activated.

I counted three promoters 5' of dusp1, I do not really understand what
you mean by 3'-promoter...
