Hi Jim, The S. cerevisiae annotations were downloaded from the Saccharomyces Genome Database (SGD) (see http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTrackUi?&db=sacSer2&g=sgdGene), we do not do the annotations here at UCSC. If you would like your data to be displayed, we suggest you contact either Ensembl or SGD (http://www.yeastgenome.org/cgi-bin/suggestion).
Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further questions. --- Luvina Guruvadoo UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 7/19/2011 9:59 AM, Jim Haber wrote: > In 1996 and thereafter we have described the Recombination Enhancer that is a > cis-acting element which directs the use of HML in homothallic switching of > MATa but is repressed in MATalpha (thus leading to the preferential use of > HMR).
