1. Advise wife that Wndows won't do 1/2 of what GNU/Linux will, and the
other 1/2 that windows does do, doesn't work properly anyway...

2. I went totally ~amd64 months ago, I tend not to notice too many
issues.. the only thing has been the bash isue recently..
