There are a great number of technicalities about superseding genkernel
in this way, but at an immediate thought, none which cannot be overcome.
This however is not the goal. This implementation idea though Isn't such
a bad thing, in fact, I like it. It can at first be written in bash for
feasibility testing and such, following that a python/emerge
implementation assuming of course the portage herd don't object. There
is still the question of it always installing userland, but this is
another issue which should be addressed in the ebuild.
