Aahh, yes sure, sorry... I've forgotten.
There is no need to download any file, because emerge downloads all files 
which are in this SRC_URI. :)
(that was the main question behind my broken english *g*)

Okay, then I'll try that now a bit and play with it.
Then I'll file a new bug for the new version of basc.
