Cool.  That's what I thought, but I decided this would be a good place to
both confirm it, and call attention to the fact that not everything that
goes by during an "emerge" actually happens during the emerge portion. 
Some of it is unmerging old packages, and bugging that would just be
noise (as now confirmed), because they /are/ old.
