I'd be happy for you to remove yourself as a maintainer of cairo. You've got one commit (not removing ebuilds) since July 2012, according to the changelog. At least three X11 team members have more commits than that, and I don't know how much sense it makes to have a non-X11-team member being the primary maintainer of a critical X11 package anyway.
