I think rmerge is not the right solution because you cannot do another
emerge in parallel. Adding environment variables to change the make.conf
and profiles path is much better IMO.
True. But rmerge is a workaround until the good(tm) solution is
available in portage. Thats's what I understood from shillealgh (the
author) in #gentoo-embedded.
"until the good(tm) solution is available", does that mean there is a
whishlist-bug pending? because i found none. if there really is none,
perhaps some1 should file one.
