My one: In the home directory of a user on the Tru64 box I 'administer'(1) I simply typed chown -r andrea:people * .* I soon realized that the second entry of an 'ls' list is .. All the home directories of the users of that box belonged to andrea. The damages were limited (10 users, none of which really uses that box except me). But for a moment I thought: this time I am screwed(2) (that box belongs to my boss, who gave me root privileges because he trusts me). Probably this disclaimer just states things you already suspect: I am a sysadmin like Stallman is a businessman.
