| i used to work at sun micro, and while i was there i think i made on of
| the worst mistakes of my life...
The same happened to me. I'm come from Linux world not Solaris, but because
I was one of the few, in my work that knows unix.. well.. they put me in
charge of 7 Sun Machines (2x4500, 2x3500, 2x450, 1x250) 6 of them running
Solaris 2.6 and one Solaris 9 (testing)... well... It took me a bit to get
used to Solaris Unix.. It's a little bit different.. And killall it's NOT the
exception... in Solaris.. killall means... EXACTLY that!!
If you wants the linux meaning you must use pkill... I learned in the hard way
:) Well.. after that.. I went to Solaris Administration Curses... so those
days.. are "very far away days".
Anyway.. as you can read.. I'm an BOFH fan.

BOFH Excuse #225: It's those computer people in X {city of world}. They keep
stuffing things up.
