At least this last time it commented on some new feature but it wasn't something I would of used so didn't pay that close of attention to what it was. I wish though that when it wants to UD portage it would say why at the time. It does take the time to warn you it will stop after emerging it. I'd hope at somepoint they could stick a warning in there saying "downgrade required due to discovered flaw" or something. Right now I'm avoiding touching portage.
