I'm not sure what versions of the programs you are using but I just went through the same thing. It's been my experience that you need to re-emerge ghostscript after emerging gimp-print-cups and it seems there is a conflict when you try to emerge ghostscript after emerging gimp-print-cups-4.3.8 or higher what worked for me was to unmerge cups, ghostscript and gimp-print-cups then emerge cups, ghostscript, gimp-print-cups-4.3.5 (an older version) and then re-emerge ghostscript. Then use a browser to add the printer via http://127.0.0.1:631. That's what worked for me. -- The kids like canteloupe...but they call it cheese - Lori =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Harold Bibik [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
