Actually, I didn't need to be told what the do with the money, I just happened to read an explanation and I have no reason to doubt it. > That is *not* the position expressed above in the previous posts where > you seemed to feel that it didn't matter where the money went as long as > the product was good. Yes it is. I'm willing to leave it up to the Gentoo people to decide what to do with the money they receive from me. If eating pizza is what they want to do, then let them eat, they've deserved it. I have no reason to believe that Gentoo is involved in anything that I would consider a 'bad thing to do'(tm). Gentoo is great and I want to help make it better. I do trust Gentoo to use the money as they see it would benefit Gentoo most. I've also donated money to mozilla and I'm thinking of donating to Gnome. Actually I've decided to donate to Gnome, but I haven't gotten around to do it yet. Even though I do not exactly know what they'll be using the money for, I'm not willing to believe it's for bombing some country on the other side of the earth. If you can provide proof that Gentoo is causing starvation in Africa etc., I'll surely stop supporting it, but until then, I've got no reason to do so. -- Janne "So act that your principle of action might safely be made a law for the whole world." - Immanuel Kant -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
