Folks, I'm puzzled. I get the following error message on my console of a new Gentoo install (soon to be a web server, but not there yet):
---------------------------------------- sendmail: RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)) ---------------------------------------- The message appears more often than once per hour, although I haven't timed it. I went looking. I do not have sendmail installed. AFAIK I don't have *any* mail program installed. The hosts file is set for my network, and the only other full time occupant of this net is a SuSE 8.0 system that is running fine. The network is behind a firewall (Actiontec DSL modem/router/firewall). No other system on the network has this message. Adding any of the laptops (three of them) to the net doesn't change things. Can someone shed some light on this subject? Or just give me a hint as to direction to search? TIA. In Harmony's Way, and In A Chord, Tom :-}) Thomas A.
