I'm runnind a Leadtek K7NCR18D-pro here, different board but the same 
nic and sound. I too had problems with the ebuilds for nvaudio and 
nvnet but have had good luck with the drivers from Nvidia's site:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.0-0248.html Spdif works 
with the latest driver too.
