I've got a network interface configured but I don't want it to be started at boot
(this is a laptop).

I don't know why, but it is started anyway.

# rc-update -s

                 xfs |

... and just after boot:
# /etc/init.d/net.eth0 status
 * status: started

Any idea what is causing eth0 to start?
