sshd is better than telnet. however, if you have to have telnet, you would need to start the server. it would be in /etc/init.d/ and likely called telnetd.




Hmm... There is nothing inside init.d that could even be remotely interpreted as the telnet daemon. Do I need to add it somehow? Any other suggestions?
