Use the - .config file. Generally according many users 2.6-kernel works well. I'm with 2.4.23. But watch, there are some thing you must do when compiling 2.6, there was a recipe /HOWTO/ somewhere in the posts. Or see the forums. Another way is to buy a new NIC, which is supported, they are cheap now. Bye. Rumen.
