Nevermind, finally got it to work.  I didn't realize that it needed its own folder under x11-base/xorg-unichrome

Hello,

Ok, I've looked everywhere to learn how to do this properly, but can't get it to work.

I'm trying to apply a patch (xorg-x11-6.7.0-r1-unichrome.patch from bug
54079).  I download it and place it into my /usr/local/portage/x11-base/
folder.  I've added the line:

PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage

in my /etc/make.conf file.  I've also added the USE function "unichrome"
to my USE set.  I tried the following both with xorg-x11 merged and
unmerged.

Next I have tried running both:
ebuild xorg-x11-6.7.0-r1-unichrome.patch config
and
ebuild /usr/local/portage/x11-base/xorg-x11-6.7.0-r1-unichrome.patch
config

but get the following error:
!!! Name error in unichrom
!!! Error: PF is null 'xorg-x11-6.7.0-r1-unichrome.patch' ;  exiting.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Sevak
