The Handbook http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/2004.3/handbook-x86.xml?full=1 states: "The GRP consists of all packages required to have a fully functional Gentoo installation. They are not just the ones you need to have a base installation up to speed in no time, but all lengthier builds (such as KDE, xorg-x11, GNOME, OpenOffice, Mozilla, ...) are available as GRP packages too." I tried "emerge --usepkg kde" (as suggested in the Handbook), too. Didn't work. Same as with icewm and all the other packages. It's all there, but it won't install -- [email protected] mailing list
