In clustering, Systemd is ok, even great for containers. In Hi Performance Computing types of clusters, systemd is loosing the battle. Many in these trenches believe that the cluster engines of HPC cluster architectures will vastly outperform clusters with systemd; thus eventually removing systemd from linux clusters where performance is important.
