zcat /proc/config.gz Very useful thank you. It will be handy. I've noticed that using: genkernel --menuconfig all puts the .config in /usr/src/linux directory and copy kernel to /boot after compiling when you exit. In addition I've switch to "refind" instead of grub; much simpler and user friendly. >
