Regretfully, yes. Still no go. I even made sure it was actually using it too. I selected a NON-OpenGL screen saver and now the CPU doesn't go nuts. Now I have to get the power saver options sorted out with this new xorg mess. Yup, it's turning into a mess. I'm doing a emerge -e world as we speak. Maybe that will fix something.
