Hi There seem to be a number of people on this list who are conducting research on geoeng whilst not being part of an institution.
I am wondering if there is any source of funding to support their work? Conference attendances are particularly expensive, and are not always refunded by the organizers. It would be very useful to have information on this archived on the list - whether that's concerning trusts, charities, grant-making bodies, research institutions or private benefactors.
