Hi all,

The Degrees Initiative has just launched a call for submissions for the Degrees
Global Forum on SRM <https://www.degrees.ngo/globalforum/>. This Forum will
be the first in a series of big conferences for the solar radiation
modification (SRM) community. Taking place from 12-16 May 2025 in Cape
Town, South Africa, the event will gather hundreds of researchers, NGO
representatives, policymakers, thought leaders and journalists from around
the world to discuss the scientific, social, and political sides of SRM.

The Forum aims to foster interdisciplinary discussions through a range of
session formats. Degrees invites proposals to organise a parallel session,
present during a parallel session, or showcase a poster. We encourage
diverse and creative contributions from all sectors, not just academia.
Whether you're part of an NGO, involved in policy, or work in media, your
unique insights and ideas are welcome.

The Forum's website, which will be launched soon, will have more details
about registration fees, the program, logistics, and other important
information.

In the meantime, we encourage proposals from across the SRM community. Join
us in Cape Town in 2025 and help put the Global South at the centre of the
SRM conversation.

You can access the call for submissions form here
<https://www.cognitoforms.com/TheDegreesInitiative/DegreesGlobalForumSubmissionFormSessionsAndPresentations>.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Best regards,

The Degrees Team
