Nick,
Is the dead end message you are referring to entitled "Broken Link"?
If so, did you know that GX help files are linked to OASIS montaj dialog
boxes. Whenever a new service pack is installed for the program the latest
documentation service pack must also be installed. If the most recent
documentation service pack is not installed the links are broken and an
error message is displayed instead of the correct help topic.
This has proven to be a problem for some users who haven't upgraded their
documentation when they upgraded OASIS montaj with the latest service pack.
