I like the idea a *lot*.

Question is what do we use for the background map in this case, 
bluemarble ? Google's stuff is very pretty, but it'd be a little strange 
to have them serve the background for our front page. Ivan did a good 
job styling the -users map, maybe that's enough detail ?
