Thanks for the nice clear proposal; this would remove one of the only
excuses for a user to duck into the filesystem - providing a better
out of the box experience.
One question; can I confirm that the user interface extension is
plugged in along with the security system used. Thinking of the
GeoXACML work; and situations such as the GeoServer / GeoNetwork combo.
