+1, looks great.  One suggestion - it'd be great if there was a way for 
any user to sign up for an account.  As far as I can tell right now the 
only way to add a new user is the admin doing it.  And the admin setting 
the password.

Ideally there'd be a 'sign up' link by 'login', where a user can enter 
their own username and password (and indeed a password the admin would 
not know).  Then the admin can set the permissions of what a new user 
can view.  Ideally you might even have a role that can set user 
permissions but not have full access to the geoserver config.

And it'd obviously be great if the user new account interface had things 
like emailing a forgotten password, email confirmation, captchas, etc. 
Another direction to consider is allowing openid - let people sign in 
with their open id account.

Anyways, just some food for thought, this is a really nice start.
