Agreed, Miles.  If I can get confirmation that the differences mentioned in 
this thread are the only differences, I can update that page in the docs.

And yes, this is totally self-interest here.  I just started up a trunk build 
with a 2.0.x data dir, and now it won't start with my 2.0.2 GeoServer anymore.  
:(
