Hi,

One thing I'm struggling with is that we want to upload shapefiles into a
PostgreSQL/PostGIS-database, and then publish them as layers in GeoServer.
Im at the point that I can get the files into the database via shp2pgsql and
psql, and that I can create a workspace and a datastore and create layers
inside the datastore mor or less automatically. I wrote a shellscript that
does all the work for me for all the shapefiles in a given folder.

So far for now, but I have three more steps to go, which I have to do by
hand for now:

1st: publish the layer
2nd: compute the bounding boxes
3rd: select the SLD

Is there a way to do these steps with curl/rest? I didn't find a way, but
maybe I was just to blind to see ;-)

Thanks for your help
Dennis.
