Thanks, Paul. I knew I could have copied the .war file and have Tomcat auto-deploy, but then any configuration changes or data I added or edited would be at risk if the .war file got whacked, since Tomcat would undeploy it. I'm sure I could probably move the config and data outside, too, but it seemed simpler to just expand it myself and not tempt Tomcat to kill it off.
The REST extension looks promising. Thanks!
