Subject: Re: [Geoserver-users] NamedLayer / FeatureTypeName - Problem in SLD
with GeoServer

Hi List,
I have a problem using multiple NamedLayer Styles (42) in one SLD file. When I
create a new style including some NamedLayer definitions and apply them to
every layer in a layergroup, only the first layer mentioned in the SLD will be
displayed, the others don't appear. Can anybody tell me if GeoServer even
supports using multiple NamedLayer Styles in one SLD in layergroups?
As David said, as far as I remember library mode (matching named layers and
named styles) engages only if you
specify the SLD dynamically in the request.
It would be possible to modify this behavior and have GS use the one style
provided as a library though, it wouldjust be something new, something that
requires code modifications
CheersAndrea
