Hi Geoserver folks,

I've just installed the latest stable Geoserver 2.1.3 onto my Windows 7 64bit
machine. I seem to be able to start the service but pointing my browser at
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/web I get

HTTP ERROR: 503

SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE
RequestURI=/geoserver/web

Powered by jetty://

I've tried installing as a service and manual start/stop, and using the binary
installer, and I see the same issue in all cases.

I also see some errors in the output of the startup.bat file, but I'm not
familiar enough with Geoserver to interpret them.

My JAVA_HOME variable is set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6. I seem to
have a bunch of versions of Java JRE and JDK installed, I've tried pointing
JAVA_HOME to a few of those without solving the issue.

According to VERSION.txt I've got:

version = 2.1.3
svn revision = 16668
build date = 21-Dec-2011 11:55
geotools version = 2.7.4
geotools revision = 38443
hudson build = -1

Any help greatly appreciated!

cheers, Hugh
