I've tried to work on it, but the problem is large and the time I took
to look at it only served the purpose to prove that I cannot fix that in
a weekend (there are some patches floating around that one, none
of them is really resolutive afaik)

This is likely to do some corner case that the rendering code handling
reprojection is not dealing with properly,
