Hello all,
I'm evaluating Geoserver (WMS) for use in a Tomcat - based application that
will use Oracle Spatial 11g as the map data source. I will also most likely be
using Open Layers and Ext-JS in the front end.
I need the ability to access a set of data that is stored in tables in a
state-by-states basis, so that it appears to the user as one layer. What used
to be called a "seamless layer" when this type of thing was done in a file
system.
How would one set this up in Geoserver? A SQL View that unions the 50 tables?
A layer group? Some other (hopefully slicker) method?
TIA,
