Hi, It is then your turn to make them believe that all that matters is - GetCapabilities response - DescribeFeatureType response - GetFeature response There is no need to know the mark of a WFS server sending those messages. If they can show what is, according to the WFS standard, wrong in the XML we will pass the information for the developers and servers will be fixed. If XML is okay they will in turn ask contact their developers and ArcGIS will be fixed. As a result servers and ArcGIS will talk the same language and everybody will be happy.
