The native CRS is internal information that is not published outside of
GeoServer, and it's not used much
by GeoServer either.
You can set it up a "reproject from native to declared", the WMS really
works under a "reproject from native
to requested" in that case, so if the two match, GeoServer should not be
doing any reprojection.
At least in theory... it's been several years since I last looked in that
part of the code, I might be remembering
it wrong.
Try it out and let us know
