Hello, Thank you very much for your answer.
Looks better and easier to use Tomcat+war, indeed. Many thanks ! Regard, JC Le 30-10-19 à 14:09, Olyster a écrit :
JC, We use tomcat+war in production. Updates and Rollbacks are so much easier this way : you only have to copy your geoserver folder (and data folder if it's stored on another server for sharing config in load balancing scenario) and the war file to make a backup and copy them back to their location, restart Tomcat service and you're done. You can also deploy multiple instances on the same machine (using different port) very easily. Tomcat + war is also fast and stable. You're on a better route with this setup than Windows installer. -- Sent from: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/GeoServer-User-f3786390.html _______________________________________________ Geoserver-users mailing list Please make sure you read the following two resources before posting to this list: - Earning your support instead of buying it, but Ian Turton: http://www.ianturton.com/talks/foss4g.html#/ - The GeoServer user list posting guidelines: http://geoserver.org/comm/userlist-guidelines.html If you want to request a feature or an improvement, also see this: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/wiki/Successfully-requesting-and-integrating-new-features-and-improvements-in-GeoServer [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users
