Hi Simone! Yeah, I reckon I do. Because you see, there is a lot of kakadu stuff in the plugin zips I have poured into the lib folder on the server. In the GDAL plugin there is imageio-ext-gdalkakadujp2-1.3.10.jar, and in the jp2k there are imageio-ext-kakadu-1.3.10.jar as well as imageio-ext-kakadujni-5.2.6.jar. I suppose there is some kakadu in all of those jars. As to what is actually used by Geoserver, I have no idea. But I suppose those kakadoodles are there for a purpose. My best guess is that Geoserver is using kakadu, but I cannot tell for sure. Is this important?
