I've heard about the GO-1 renderer, but I dont know anything about it.
Could you give a few sentances on what it is?
It is a formal OGC specification you can download that defines the
various aspects of a rendering
system. It has concepts such as a "Graphic" and a system that goes from
"Feature" to "Graphic" and
so on. It does reuse some ideas such as SLD, but also has a few ideas
of its own (Graphic would be a great
object for our "decimated" Java Shape for example).
