Hi Andrea, seems I have no problem svn updating the codebase. Wonder if this isn't one of those rare OS specific situations?... hope not. Would it be too stupid that the absolute path is too large for windows or something like that? I ask because the path name for that file happens to be 220 chars long counting from inside the gt/modules directory, append to that what you need to address gt/modules and will surely end up with a path larger than 255. So, might it be a limitation of svn under windows, of windows itself, or nothing of the above...
tell me what you find out so I can help you with this. cheers, Gabriel On Monday 14 May 2007 10:44, Andrea Aime wrote: > Hi guys, > today I wake up finding I cannot check out geotools trunk anymore. > Either doing a "svn up", or a full "svn co", I end up with the following > error: > > svn: Your .svn/tmp directory may be missing or corrupt; run 'svn > cleanup' and try again > svn: Can't open file > 'community-schemas\community-schema-ds\src\test\resources\org\geotools\data >\complex\test-data\commonSchemas\www.seegrid.csiro.au\xsd\geosciml\.svn\tmp\ >text-base\bgs_MappedFeature-1_mappingFromDigMap.xml.svn-base': Impossibile > trovare il percorso specificato. > > It always happen on that file (and yes, I tried to cleanup, but as I > said, even a brand new checkout fails with that error). > Maybe something broke on the server, or that file has specific > characteristics? > Does anyone else have troubles with it? > > Cheers > Andrea > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express > Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take > control of your XML.
