I have updated the task list for the CRS work in order to cover a 2.4 / 2.5 split. - http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Improve+CRSAuthority+Concurrency+Caching+and+Connection+Use I am prepared to cut a 2.4.x branch after you have reviewed the CRS Authority classes (and committed to a set of names) - could we arrange a QA review with you on Tuesday next week? It is a holiday Monday here in Canada (of course we have one of Cameron's friends visiting so we will not be entirely restful). I do not mind doing the testing / documentation run while on a 2.4.x branch - even if that means any discovered problems need to be merged onto 2.5. The timing sounds like it will work out; Justin is going to think about what names will change on the Feature side of things and get his deprecations in order.
