I am looking into sld handling on trunk; since udig is starting to make use of raster symbolizer.
A couple of things; - A lot of this code will need to be rewritten to account for recent style mutability decisions; we need to make note of that in the change proposal; even if a JAXB parser is used for SE1.1 support we still have need of an SLD 1.0 parser - much of this code needs review a) null handling (an initial test case failed when style.abstract was null) b) handling of expression (opacity was assumed to be a literal; rather than making use of ExpressionDOMParser) This may be a good time to end of life the DOM parser? The SLD bindings as I understand it are working okay?
