Dear all, and especially Martin,

I'd like to make a couple of the image operators in the jai-tools
project available via GeoTools wrappers and, if this seems useful, I
wonder what you think the best way to do this is.

Currently, some JAI functions are wrapped in...

- sub-classes of Operation2D (e.g. Resample)

- sub-classes of OperationJAI (all the 'straight' wrappings ?)

- ImageWorker

...and maybe some other places ?

The first operators I'd like to make available are for the
"Regionalize" and "MaskedConvolve" operations...
http://code.google.com/p/jai-tools/wiki/Regionalize
http://code.google.com/p/jai-tools/wiki/MaskedConvolve

Any advice on the best way to integrate these into GeoTools would be
much appreciated

cheers
Michael
