Hi folks, Apologies for my abrupt post on the user list about David A's SoC proposal. I should have probably been more diplomatic.
I'm just about to head out the door with the family for a few days holiday so in case there is more discussion about David's proposal in my absence here are my thoughts... I'm sketchy on the proposal but it seems to involve extensive work which I would have rather discussed previously, or received patches or issues etc. Although David says he wrote to me about it I have searched my gmail and can't find anything (checked the spam too :) I'm -1 on the proposal. However if other PMC members support it I've no problems with abiding by that. Democracy is good. I know that the refactoring of the swing module has been on hold for a couple of months now while I work on other things but I feel that is still the best way to proceed, ie. rebuilding from the ground up in a TDD fashion.
